Fleshy, rather short-lived, ectotrophic, white-spored agarics with free to nearly free lamellae and prominent veils; spores amyloid or not, often with low Q-value, lamellar trama divergent.
Poisonous. Symptoms after eating are referred to the pantherina syndrome, that is a neurological poisoning causing hallucinations etc. More severe symptoms after heavy intake have been reported.
